Profile:
Mike joined the board in 1989 and has remained a Director ever since. A GP by profession, he took over as Chairman of the Club in early 1991 and remained in the Chair for nearly 13 years stepping down in October 2003.
Mike took over the Chair in a time of crisis inherited from a previous regime and with a small group of dedicated people was responsible for saving the Club from possible liquidation.
On stepping downfrom the Chair he was elected as the President and as well has been an excellent ambassador for the Club, he is also Honoury Medical Officer.
Mike sits on the Football Committee within the Board.
